The Tudors lived 400 years ago, from 1485 to 1603. We have lots of information about them. The Tudors ruled England and Wales and also a part of Ireland. There were four main classes of people, by far the biggest class was made up of labourers & poor. Most of them lived in the countryside. We have tried to create a picture of what it was like to live 400 years ago in the Tudor times. In our Tudor reference books, which we wrote and from which we have taken all the information for these web pages, we have things like; Tudor childhood, Tudor food, and Tudor music. We looked at everything from the Act of Supremacy 1583 to the punishments they got if they did something wrong.

We decided to put the books on the web for other children in other schools. If the information is not accurate please write to us and blame our teachers. Our web pages come from books we have made to help the future year 4 children in our school learn about Tudor England.
